Discuss your design, size, and placement with your artist. Final adjustments before we begin.
Design is transferred to your skin. Check placement in the mirror and approve.
Sterile single-use needle opened in front of you. EU-certified vegan inks. Comfortable, professional session.
Protective film applied. Keeps bacteria out during the first critical hours.
Your artist explains your personal aftercare routine. You receive written instructions too.
③ First 14 Days
The most critical period. Follow these rules exactly for a perfect heal.
✅ Do
- Wash 2–3 times daily — lukewarm water, unscented soap, gentle pat dry.
- Apply cream 3–4 times daily — thin layer only. The tattoo should not feel greasy.
- ✅ Keep the wrap on — Leave the protective film on for 2–4 hours (or as instructed by your artist). This protects the fresh tattoo from bacteria and friction.
- Wear loose clothing — avoid friction and tight fabrics over the tattooed area.
🚫 Don't
- 🌊 No swimming — No Red Sea, pool, or bath water for minimum 2 weeks. Salt and chlorine will damage the healing tattoo.
- ☀️ No direct sun — Avoid UV exposure on the tattoo for 3–4 weeks. After healing, always use SPF 50+ sunscreen on tattooed skin.
- 🏋️ No heavy exercise — Avoid intense workouts for 5–7 days. Sweat can cause infection and damage the healing skin.
- 🧖 No sauna / steam — No sauna, steam room, or hot tub for at least 2 weeks. Heat and moisture are enemies of fresh tattoos.
Daily Care Routine
④ After 1 Month
Your tattoo is healed but long-term care keeps it beautiful for decades.
UV is the main cause of tattoo fading — especially in Egypt. Sunscreen is non-negotiable.
Artificial UV is even more aggressive than natural sun. Never expose your tattoo to tanning beds.
A well-moisturized tattoo looks brighter and crisper. Unscented lotion 1–2 times daily.
If any area needs a touch-up after full healing, we provide it free of charge within 3 months of your session.
Healing Timeline — What to Expect
5 stages from fresh to fully healed. Knowing what is normal removes anxiety.
Days 1–3
Tattoo is fresh, may feel like a sunburn. Slight swelling and redness is normal. Keep moisturized.
Days 4–7
Scabbing begins. The tattoo will look flaky and dull — this is part of the process. Do NOT pick at scabs.
Days 8–14
Peeling and flaking stage. Skin may be itchy. Continue washing and moisturizing. Color will start to look normal.
Weeks 3–4
Surface appears healed but deeper layers are still recovering. Continue sun protection. You may resume normal activities.
Month 1+
Fully healed. Color settled. Can swim and sunbathe with SPF 50+. Moisturize regularly for a bright, crisp look.

Can I fly after getting a tattoo?
Yes, flying the next day is fine. Cabin pressure does not affect fresh tattoos.
How do I protect a new tattoo from the sun?
Keep it covered for 3–4 weeks. After healing, always apply SPF 50+ sunscreen on tattooed skin.
How long does a tattoo session take?
Small tattoos: 30–90 minutes. Medium: 2–4 hours. Large: 4–8 hours.
